Heart & Lungs Locomotor Activity

Students act as blood cells circulating through the body performing locomotor skills. They pick up oxygen beanbags in the lungs, take them to the heart, where 4 students jumping on small trampolines help pump them to the different parts of the body so that they can deposit their oxygen and exchange it for carbon dioxide.

(Note:  Equipment may be modified to use what you have.  Can be done without parachute and/or trampolines.  Chalk can be used on asphalt to mark path of blood cells.)
